We dedicate this website to those who have lost their loved ones to cyberbullying, and also to those who have been affected by it.
What is cyberbullying?
Cyberbuyllying is a serious issue that affects up to 1.8 billion youths worldwide (Tedx Teen, 2014). In Australia, 10-20% of children and young people have been cyberbullied (Australian Institute of Family Studies, 2017).

While cyberbullying is now a serious concern in Australia (Goff, 2011), there are currently lack of measures in relation to dealing with issues of cyberbullying in schools. In its most extreme form of cases, some victims of cyberbullying have taken their own lives, which shows the importance of being aware of the consequences.

Michael Cleland, the father of Jessica Cleland who took her own life after being cyberbullied said, "It's so easy to sit behind a computer screen and type something nasty and push the send button and think 'ha, ha, I've done something,' but the consequences on the other end could be like us — it destroys a family," (Ford, 2015)
